This Public Comment is to obtain comments/inputs on draft of Malaysian Standard DMS 979-2 Plastics piping systems for non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage — Unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) — Part 2: Guidance for the assessment of conformity (First revision).

This DMS was developed by Working Group on Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Pipes and Fittings (NSC 10/TC 2/WG 2). The draft document constitutes the first revision of this Standard.

This DMS gives requirements and guidance for the assessment of conformity of formulations, products and assemblies in accordance with DMS 979-1 intended to be included in the manufacturer’s quality plan as part of the quality management system and for the establishment of certification procedures.
