This Public Comment is to obtain comments/inputs on draft of Malaysian Standard DMS 979-1 Plastics piping systems for non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage — Unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) — Part 1: Specifications for pipes, fittings and the systems (First revision).

This DMS was developed by Working Group on Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Pipes and Fittings (NSC 10/TC 2/WG 2). The draft document constitutes the first revision of this Standard.

This DMS specifies requirements for solid wall pipes, fittings, and the overall unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) piping systems use in non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage.
